I have the singular pleasure to introduce Lives, the premier news portal of records to you.
This news portal has reordered the news pyramid laying more emphasis on the who rather the what. It is intended to reframe debates, turn around assumptions, and overcome stereotypes.
We believe in the power of the media to set agenda. The mass media define what we should pay attention to. The media also frame significant issues of the day, leading the public to make informed choices.
With the advent of the social media and its attendant unrestrained power, the communication environment and media ecosystem (and the market ideas it represents) has been completely altered and is more crowded than ever before. Sieving the facts from untruth has never been more challenging. That is why we place premium attention to details, separating the facts from the maze of information.
Corporate organizations need to add their voices to public policy debates by having access to a medium like ours since reportage in the mainstream media is increasingly and unfairly tilted to political news.
